Understanding of the ECG complex is required to interpret the ECG. The ECG complex is composed of waves, intervals, complexes and segments. Each component of the ECG complex is related to a specific structure or physiologic process which will be discussed later. The components of the ECG Complex are: 
Waves - P wave
- Q wave
- R wave
- S wave
- T wave
- U wave
